What makes this dog special: Cody is like having the clumsy class clown at home everyday. Full of energy and always doing things to make you laugh. He’s still learning that those long gangly legs are his and how they work, often flopping into your lap or down on whatever comfy surface is nearby. He loves his stuffed critters and a good Nyla bone to keep him busy when you're trying to just hang out. He easily makes dog friends with slow introductions, but can sometimes get so excited that he needs a little break. He was an A+ student at camp, so he would be happy to attend “class” during the day if that works best for his new family. He would love a yard to run around in or play fetch, but could be just as happy with daily walks for exercise. He’s still working on not trying to play with every pup he passes while out exploring with you. Although he is still unsure of his name, he is treat motivated and very smart - learning "sit" only took him a couple of days. He knows that people need their space sometimes and doesn’t mind hanging out in his kennel from time to time and while his humans sleep. His personality continues to blossom and he can’t wait to show off all his good angles for a family photo.
Cody's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative.
