My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Capone

Gender: Male

Age: 2-3 years

Current Weight: 38 lbs

Breed: Bassett Hound Mix

Dog Friendly: Yes, and can have other dogs in the home or can be an only dog.

Cat Friendly: Np0

Crate Trained: Yes

Potty Trained: Yes

What makes this dog special: Capone is a super loving, playful dog in the greatest package!  He looks like a Pitbull head was dropped on a Bassett body.  He is 38 lbs, only about knee high, around 2-3 yrs old.  He loves to give kisses, gets along well with dogs, loves cats a little too much so no cats for him. He is the goofiest thing.  He is housebroken, sleeps well in his crate at night, really loves to be with you. He does great on a harness, but does not love a leash clipped to his collar.  Come get this beefaceke now, because he won't last long!

Capone's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative.

More about this rescue

RESCUEDohio was founded on August 1, 2015 by a group of dedicated animal lovers in the central Ohio area. The founders came from various different vocational backgrounds, but all have one thing in common: the passion to save dogs. Before starting RESCUEDohio, they were previously involved in different aspects of rescue, including fostering, fundraising, coordinating and training. The mission of this group is to help find homes for unwanted and abandoned dogs and to advocate for the rights of all animals everywhere.
