Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationThis is to become an approved adopter. Not for any one dog. Applications are found on the rescue's website at agsrescue.com
- InterviewWe MAY need a letter from the landlord allowing a pet, photos where the pet will be spending their time. This is in lieu of the home visit.
- Approve ApplicationYou will receive an email 24 to 48 hours after all information has been sent to the rescue with an approval, denial or request for more info
- Meet the PetNot all the dogs are in one place so you will be asked which dog you are interested in, if you are a match a visit will be arranged
- Take the Pet HomeIf the visit goes well and we all agree to move forward, you will take the dog home for a 24 hour visit.
- Sign Adoption ContractAfter the overnight visit, you will come out to the rescue and either return or adopt the dog.
- Pay FeeIf it's an adoption you will sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee of $450 using cash or check only
