My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Currently in Foster**Meet Poppa! He's a sweet senior boy who loves toys and still has some pep in his step. At this time it's not known if he gets along with cats, but his foster has other dogs in the house that he gets along with. He has been neutered, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Poppa does have an enlarged heart and will need to be on heart meds for the remainder of his life. He is doing well and gets along just fine. For more info about him and his medical needs, give us a call and ask to speak to a staff member. Apply to adopt Poppa at ghhs.org!

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
