HAPPY TAILS! Pepper has been adopted! Long, happy life, beautiful boy!
Say hello to Pepper!! Pepper was found outside as a stray. A concerned homeowner called us for help in rescuing him. Our fosters are at capacity, so we inquired if the homeowner could possibly foster him short-term, and they agreed. After settling in, Pepper’s foster mom noticed a lump on his side. He was brought to our vets for an evaluation and it was found that Pepper had a very large hernia. It is suspected that Pepper may have been hit by a car a few weeks prior while on the streets. While in surgery, it was also determined that his spleen needed to be removed. Vet costs are our biggest expense as a rescue. Donations are always needed and appreciated! Thankfully, Pepper was rescued in time and has made a full recovery! His foster family reports that he is grateful to be inside, and a very sweet boy who loves to be cuddled and held. Pepper is still a kitten at just under a year old. He is ready for his forever home and is currently up for adoption.
