Meet gorgeous girl River! She is a 4.5 month old Doberman and will likely have an adult weight of approximately 65 lbs. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, heart worm negative, and microchipped.
River came to us as a surrender from a breeder. She was very underweight and emaciated for her age. She weighed only 7 lbs when she should have been much closer to 18-20 lbs at 3 months old. She has recovered beautifully and is a strong, healthy girl ready to find her forever home!
She's very smart girl and knows No, Sit, Drop It, Crate, and Potty. She is house and kennel trained and will sit politely for her food. River is still young and will need a family that can help her keep up with her training, but she is off to a great start! River is such a sweetie and enjoys getting pets and snuggling up with her family. Her favorite snuggle is one with a ton of blankets to settle into and nuzzling her face into your arm…or any space she can fit! She LOVES to get her ears rubbed. River has the best "smile" to give you when you go to greet her!
She is great with the dog she lives with, a Coonhound, and can hold her own playing with a big dog! This beauty does well with kids of all ages. River currently gets to call a 2 acre homestead her foster home and we've learned she needs a home without chickens. She just finds them far too interesting to leave them alone. We're unsure how she may be with cats but given how interesting she finds the poultry, she may do best in a home without cats.
It should be noted that River is too old to have her ears cropped or tail docked. She will always be a natural Doberman girl and stunning just the way she is.
