My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mandi-Belle and her surgically repaired mandible are ready to get the heck out of dodge! That's right, our mini panther found over the summer with a degloved jaw is finally ready to search for a home (see the before pics at the end). She's developed into such a cutie pie with a more pronounced fever coat (white tips throughout her fur). This usually happens to dark colored kittens whose mother had a fever while pregnant, but it normally dissipates as the kitten ages (but it may not). And, check out that scowl... don't know whether to blame that on her jaw, or the fact she had just woken up! 😉

Mandi is quiet and gentle, but she's still scared at times, likely due to the trauma she suffered at such a young age. Quick movements, loud noises or hyper animals/kids may startle her. She doesn't seem to have connected easily with any of the other kittens in her room and mostly stays to herself. We could see her going to a home with an extremely friendly cat or kitten to help bring her out of her shell, or as a single kitty with someone dedicated to gaining her trust and helping her blossom. Oh, and did we mention she LOVES Churu? It's her Halloween (or any day) treat of choice!
