My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ben is a sweet gentleman who loves to be with people. Born in 2013, he is a healthy, happy boy who weighs about 85 lbs. He is house-trained, and rides great in the car. Accustomed to traveling, Ben is a wonderful companion. He likes to go for long walks and to sit by your side to get love and attention. He gets along well with other dogs and makes friends easily. Ben is a true prince who would make a wonderful addition to your castle.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
