(DOB 09/14/2018) Sporting heart-shaped sunglasses and enough love to go around, Jess is your hound girl through and through with a little extra Valentine’s flair !
She can be described as goofy, chatty, athletic, and overflowing with that irresistible houndy charm. From sunrise zoomies to sunset snuggles, she brings laughs, personality, and nonstop entertainment. She currently lives with a crew of knucklehead furry friends who are her ride-or-die squad, helping her polish her skills for her ultimate dream role — devoted sidekick in her Very Best Forever Home.
This girl lives for playtime, adventure, and fun. Jess loves romping with other dogs, showing off her impressive hops, and zooming around the yard like she’s training for the Hound Olympics. She’d thrive in a home with a secure 6-foot fenced yard and another playful pup to be her partner in crime. Fair warning: she’s clever and athletic, so outdoor time should be supervised; this girl can move like the wind! Car rides? Big YES. Shotgun is her happy place.
Jess would be a fantastic match for an active, dog-savvy family who appreciates classic hound antics including her occasional vocal commentary (it’s part of the charm!). She’s crate trained, potty trained, and perfectly happy crashing in her crate or curling up on the couch after a full day of fun. She’s also a dedicated chewer, so keep a steady supply of toys, bones, and bully sticks for her to keep her busy.
Jess hasn’t met cats yet, but we expect curiosity (and possibly chase mode), so only confident, dog-savvy cats with safe zones would be best. Kids should be older and ready to keep up with her bouncy, tail-wagging enthusiasm.
If you are looking for fun, then look no further than Jess. She will have you laughing and smiling each and every day with her houndy-endless-lust-for-life! Jess can definitely fit the "Life of the Paw-ty!" role!
As part of Jess’s $300 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little girl, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Jess, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our
