Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucinda came to us with Luna and Liza. She's about 2 yrs old and she's a small hound mix at about 32 lbs. Lucinda has arrived in Massachusetts and is ready for visits! She's doing well in her foster home and enjoys the company of the other dog there. She's good around children, men ( adores the husband/father in the home), and enthusiastically greet s other dogs. She can be a little tentative in new situations, but she does warm up to new people with a little patience. She appears to have lived in a home before and knows where to find the soft places to sleep (Like in foster Mom and Dad's bed!). Lucinda is getting the hang of leash walking and is almost housebroken. Lucinda is fostering north of Boston.

About our rescue
We are a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in foster homes throughout the area or in some cases in the south waiting to be transported north. We do not have a physical shelter. However, meet and greets are set up for approved applicants.
Our Adoption Process
Visit our website www.necoonhoundrescue.org for information about the Coonhound and Beagle breeds. Read ‘Is a Coonhound Right for You’.
If you'd like to apply, our application is available at the link above. Once we review your application one of our Adoption Counselors will be in touch to review it with you. Once the phone interview is completed, we will check your vet reference as well as a personal reference and conduct a home visit.
