Could Tink be any cuter? Ummm?.....No! This little girl is charming! Tink is a 9-11 year old rat terrier who found herself in need after her elderly owner could not longer care for her. She's a happy girl who loves people, laying on the couch and eating! Tink is really great with other dogs and would be a welcome addition to almost any home. She does get stressed when riding in the car so we can see her being a good match for a home body who just wants an adorable cuddle bug!

A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Tink, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other "slow to adopt" dogs!

Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
