Jettie was found as a stray with her assumed sister Jula (also available for adoption) in Bertie County North Carolina. Jettie was ready to roll from the jump & was a great little walking buddy when we visited her at the shelter. After spending roughly 2 months in the shelter & never being claimed, the pair came to Symbiotic. Jettie has not missed a beat since making this move from shelter life to comfy rescued life. Jettie adores her "sister" Jula, the pair plays all day together & they would love so very much to be adopted together. Jettie is here for the adventure, she loves to play tug, some fetch, she'll scoop up the food from the wobbler that Jula works hard to empty, & don't let her fool you she also loves to be snuggled like Jula. Jettie would love a home where she will be adored, offered opportunities to learn & play. If you're looking for a sweet pup (or pair!!) to bring joy to your days, please consider meeting Jettie (& Jula!).
These girls are real diamonds in the rough. Everyone knows that black dogs get the short end of the stick when it comes to being adopted and add on the girls likely have some bully breed mixed into their DNA but everyone else's loss will be your gain! These girls are crate trained, house-trained, ride wonderfully in the car, so very sweet, love other dogs, people, kids and even do ok with cats (with proper intros). They even walk beautifully on the leash and take treats sweetly. To boot, they are still young and playful and would enjoy an active family but also can totally chill on the couch for the day and be your cuddlebug for TV watching!!
