Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
I am a great boy! Why doesn't anyone want me?
Meet Mountain Jack.
He’s a 75-pound hound mix who’s looking for love in a forever home. Our vet thinks he is 1-2 years old.
Jack has a great personality and loves to please his humans. The problem is that no one ever worked with Jack to show him what they want him to do. Jack learns fast and responds well to his name and simple commands. Fetch is his GAME and most of the time he'll return the ball and drop it! He is crate trained and house trained. Jack enjoys the company of humans and other pets--although, he isn't quite sure about cats. But, he thinks if the cat runs -- it means a good game of CHASE! Jack is a big boy at 75 lb -- but , he thinks he is a 7.5 lb lap dog. Not realizing his own size, he will walk on or plop down on top of you! He just can't help himself--he likes his cuddles!
Jack would do best in a family where he has kids and/or another dog to play with. Energy level is a medium to low--but if he doesn't get a physical work out consistently his energy level does build up. Even so, he can usually only go about 15 minutes at full throttle and then he's ready for a nap!
Jack is microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Please consider adopting this young boy and give him the life and home he deserves.
