Rika is a female German Shepherd Beauceron mix with a birthdate of July 18,2023. Her foster family describe her as a wonderful puppy who will melt your heart with her beautiful brown eyes. While she is part German Shepherd, she has a shorter stockier build perhaps more like the Beauceron.

From a really rough start for her first twelve weeks, she’s super trainable. Sit and down are solid. She still has baby teeth, and is learning quickly how to control her mouthiness. Her kennel is a sanctuary and she knows how to entertain herself with a chew toy or treat filled Kong. House training took about two days and is now rock solid. She loves to please when training and a little kibble goes a long way to new learning. She is not food aggressive at all and gets along with dogs and cats in her foster home. Typical high energy of a puppy bit a complete love bug when she quiets down. No ball is safe and left to her own devices she is capable of incredible digging feats in the back yard.

She is altered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. An ideal home for Rika will have a fenced yard, an active person or family that will continue to engage her in both mental and physical activities so she can have a full life she deserves. If there are children in the home ages 5 and up as Rika’s exuberance could result in hee knocking smaller children down.
