Rescue Story
Rani’s story is one of resilience and hope. Rescued from the harsh streets of Mumbai, India, she once called a building’s parking lot her home—often going without food, affection, or safety. Like many strays in India, Rani lived a life of neglect, relying on the occasional kindness of strangers.
About Him/Her
But everything changed when a visiting Canadian family met her. Drawn by her gentle spirit and loving nature, they began feeding and caring for her during their stay, forming a deep bond that inspired them to give her a better future. With the help of a local animal rescue organization, Rani was moved to a foster home in India, where she received vaccinations, medical care, and the nurturing she desperately needed. After three months of paperwork and preparation, Rani finally made her way to Canada. Now safe and thriving with her foster family, she’s ready for the final chapter of her journey: finding a forever home where she can share her love and loyalty. If you're looking for a sweet, family-ready dog, Rani is waiting to meet you.

About Eight Paws Dog Rescue
Eight Paws Dog Rescue is a registered Canadian Nonprofit organization that rescues dogs from South Korea and finds them forever homes in Canada. In South Korea, thousands of dogs struggle to survive in overcrowded shelters, and there is very little hope for adoption. But in Canada, these dogs can have an amazing life and a loving family. Eight Paws and its volunteers find, verify, coordinate, and assist the many humans necessary to save each dog–from shelter staff in Korea to Canadian adopters. The effort is great, but the reward is greater because dogs bring love and joy into our lives.
