Chica-at-a-glance: 3 year old, female, spayed, Blue Lacy, 60 lbs., up-to-date on core vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. Chica takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Chicken Sandwich, aka Chica, is a smart and playful 3 year old Blue Lacy. She's a strong girl who pulls a little on the leash (we're working on this) but pays little attention to other dogs and people on walks -- just enjoys her time outdoors with her people. Chica loves car rides and other energetic dogs (with proper introductions, of course). She will do best in a home with adults and a yard to run around in. Chica thinks that all of the toys are hers and isn't too keen on sharing with other dogs so her adoptive family will need to be mindful of that if Chica's going to have a fur sibling. She loves her stuffies so much that she'll often carry one outside with her, even just for a potty break!

Chica's dream day would be exploring new horizons. She would love to hike in a new spot and smell the new smells! After adventuring, she would love to relax with a nice bone and hang out with her people on the couch. She will make sure your yard is squirrel free before she curls up with you for movie night. Also, bellyrubs. Definitely bellyrubs.
