My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Discover Oreo's World Through His Foster Family's Eyes!

Meet Oreo, your potential new best friend, as described by his loving foster parents!

"Oreo is the definition of a sweetheart - calm, happy, and full of love. He's a dream on a leash, content with a cozy walk. Snuggles? He's all in! While he enjoys occasional playtime with my dog, Oreo's favorite pastime is chilling with his human pals.

He's a champ with everyone, quick to learn, and as quiet as a whisper. Patiently waiting in his crate, Oreo's even-keeled nature makes him a soothing presence. He's the loyal sidekick you've been dreaming of, always on the lookout for you!

Oreo is the perfect mix of joy and serenity, ready to give endless love to his future family!

Quick Oreo Facts

A compact 70 pounds (but looks smaller!) with short, easy-care fur
Traits: Happy, tolerant, calm, bright, loyal, loving
Estimated age: Two years, but I think he is older based on maturity.

Oreo went on a field trip recently, and here's what his chaperone said:

"On Friday, I had a delightful day with Oreo. Initially shy, he soon relaxed, showing his calm and friendly nature. We visited several places, and he was excellent with all people and environments.

Oreo was hesitant at first but quickly adapted to car rides, accepting treats gently. At Shelby Farms, he walked calmly on his leash, unfazed by other dogs, runners, bikes, and scooters. He enjoyed being petted while I sat on a bench and was intrigued by the swinging bench, taking time to investigate it.

In a fenced area, Oreo preferred exploring over chasing toys, frequently returning to me. He obediently sat for treats and was a hit at Hollywood Feed, where the employees adored him. He chose a cod stick, nibbling on it contentedly. When meeting a large, energetic puppy, Oreo was polite but walked away when the puppy became too boisterous.

At Starbucks, Oreo waited patiently in the car for his Puppicino, which he savored back in the car. He was well-behaved on the patio, politely interacting with other guests.

Our last stop was Bass Pro Shops, where Oreo was a favorite among employees and customers, receiving plenty of attention and wagging his tail throughout. He walked confidently and obediently inside, needing no guidance.

Oreo settled so well in the car that he stood on the console on our way back. His calm and friendly demeanor makes him an ideal companion, and he's eager to meet his potential new family."
