My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is about 1 year old and is a small poodle. He was surrendered to our rescue by his second owner who got him from a family member. He would love to find his forever home where he can be spoiled like he deserves to be. I was told he was scared of big dogs and while he showed some initial fear of them, he has now been around them for a couple of weeks and is totally fine. He is also great with small dogs and with cats. When I first met him at his previous home, he barked at me, but he was fine when they handed him to me and quickly got used to me and now gives me lots of kisses. He would probably do best in a calm household. He is not high energy and would be fine with a few walks every day and then just cuddling on the couch. He is mostly potty trained but will need some re-training in a new environment.
He is currently still in Oklahoma but can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well and not like they are disposable. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport. We have frequent transports to the locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on the next transport until a new home is found.
