Meet Iris, a sweet 10-year-old girl whose human passed away unexpectedly on Saturday Nov. 18th. Iris was left behind when her person died, and while she was a very loved ragdoll cat with diabetes, she was left without a good long-term plan. :(

Her last vet visit was three months ago, September 2023. She’s 10 years old, weighs 18 lbs, 8 oz. and she’s diabetic on Vetsulin 2x/day, 4 units per dose. Yearly blood work is recommended for her.

Iris is on a special diet: Hill's Prescription Diet w/d Multi Benefit Digestive/Weight/Glucose/Urinary Dry cat food. She currently lives in Morgan Hill but is happy to travel to a good foster home or permanent home.

A bit of money has been raised to go toward her care/food, etc. But if you can open your home and heart to her she will be forever grateful.

This cat is considered a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.
