My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lemon: A Playful and Affectionate High-Energy Companion
Lemon, a male neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped dog, is ready to add a burst of zest to your life. This high-energy pup is a true lover of belly rubs, and his playful nature is sure to bring joy to any household.
While Lemon is still working on housetraining and basic commands, he does sit for his food, showcasing a willingness to learn and please. It may take him a bit, but his efforts are undoubtedly endearing, and with patience and positive reinforcement, he's sure to pick up more tricks.
One unique aspect of Lemon's charm is his tendency to show his teeth, which, in his case, is a friendly and joyful expression. It's his way of letting you know he's happy and excited.
If you're ready for a playful and affectionate companion who is a work in progress but eager to learn and share love, consider adopting Lemon.

NOTE*** Lemon is currently in Foster at The Mutt Hut! Please submit an application to set up a meet and greet with this awesome pup!

More about this shelter

Animals Are Our Mission

Over 1,100 animals pass through our doors every year. Did you know that the average cost to get our animals ready to be adoptable is roughly $350 per animal? That is because we require our adoptables to be spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated before adopting out.

Population control and disease management are issues in our community that we are working hard to resolve. Your donations help ensure we can continue our mission.

We have an amazing team of hard working staff caring for our animals 7 days a week. They are supported by a group of engaged board members that are focused on bettering our organization.
