Roosevelt is a MOST special little boy! He came to us as a tiny stray, dragging his hind legs behind him. We have no idea what happened, but ultimately he did begin to walk again. Unfortunately, his right, rear leg was no longer viable and had to be amputated but it hasn’t slowed him down a bit! He’s really mastering the skill of being a tripod kitty!
Roosevelt is a MAJOR love bug! He absolutely lives for human affection and attention. He gets along very well with other kitties too but people are really where it’s at for him. His happy place is in your lap or wrapped around your neck, purring the day away.
He’s looking for a very calm home to call his own. One in which he does not have to worry about being stepped on or being chased by a dog. He gets along with calm dogs and children, but being a tripod does give him a certain level of anxiety about loud, chaotic situations.
Roosevelt can be very vocal and will ‘sing’ for you if he cannot find you. As far as special needs, he will require a very low-sided litter pan and a carpeted home, or at least carpeted stairs, would make his life easier.

All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on all needed health care before adoption is finalized.
We require a meet and greet with all potential adopters, a home visit and a vet reference (if applicable).
