Starr—This gorgeous kitty with the lovely, long coat likes to lounge out on the screened in area where she can enjoy her surroundings and watch everyone coming and going. She enjoys attention and welcomes petting. She can easily be picked up and put in a put in a carrier. She is good with all the other cats in her house and would not mind sharing her home with another kitty or two.

Starr has chronic heart issues and chronic skin issues. Currently no medication is necessary. With that in mind, we are recommending a long-term foster home for Starr.

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
