My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

OUT OF STATE TRANSPORT available for an additional fee.

Wanted: a good, caring home for a sweet, female terrier mix who likes to cuddle and play.
Daisy loves being inside near her human or outdoors playing with other dog/s.

Smart, very affectionate, knows sits, stay and heel-trains easily due to being food focused and intelligent. Daisy is black and white with kind brown eyes and weighs about 45 pounds. Daisy will use a crate but her preference is being on a dog bed or couch near her human(s). She has done very well in the car and during outings with our Doggy Day Out program.

Daisy was rescued from a kill animal shelter in August and then due to the deteriorating health of her last owner, they took Daisy to be euthanized because he was unable to continue caring for her and was saved by woofwoof fosters AT THE VETS OFFICE from the euthanasia room.

Due to her intent focus on food and history of having to fight for what she ate to live Daisy does need to be fed separately from other dogs but is not food aggressive toward humans at all, even with taking something away from her. Daisy has not had much socialization with young kids so she requires a home with older children that will respect her space (12+) or no children.

She has been cat tested and we believe she would do well with confident cats who don't run away from her.

UTD on vaccines, on preventatives, and microchipped.

More about this rescue

WHY & HOW
Let us start by telling you the "WHY" and "HOW" woofwoof fosters was created. Our founder
moved to TN in February of 2019. Since moving here, she has seen a lot of
posts on Facebook and other social media sites about missing, neglected, homeless, abused dogs, and

overcrowded shelters and rescues. Our founder and her family rented houses while
searching for a place to buy that would accommodate animals. In 2022, they finally found
a home to buy! Now that they have a home and some land, they want to do what they can
to help! The dream is that one day rescue organizations won't be needed and that all
humans will see these beautiful furbabies for what they are….. love in the purest form. It
is part of woofwoof foster's mission to make this happen.
