Diesel is an 8 year old dachshund who was turned over to rescue by a Good Samaritan seeking a forever home for him. Diesel is in good health, and has clearly lived in a home before as he is house trained and crate trained. He gets along well with other dogs and would be an excellent companion for someone who works from home or stays home a lot. He would not do well with small children, he seems to prefer the quiet life. Diesel is a bit cautious at first but he does warm up to folks and other dogs. He likes to snuggle up and watch TV, and during the day enjoys sunbathing on the porch. Diesel is low maintenance and is just looking for a lap to call his own. Diesel’s forever home needs to have a securely fenced backyard.
