Meet Churro! This sweet 2-year-old beagle/border terrier mix is looking for his forever home. Churro has had a difficult start to life - he and his sister were surrendered to a person as young puppies and did not receive much positive human interaction. Understandably, this has made Churro a very shy and nervous boy.
But Churro loves other dogs and gets all his confidence from canine companions. When around other dogs, he really comes out of his shell! He enjoys playing, though he can be a bit spazzy and fast which leaves his playmates in the dust.
Churro will need a very patient, adult-only home with no children. His new family must allow Churro ample time and space to learn to trust at his own pace. Confident resident dogs are ideal to help Churro continue building confidence. He will also need a securely fenced yard, as his terrier instincts make him prone to chasing small animals.

We are a foster-based rescue. Our animals are in homes while in foster care rather than in a shelter. Once the application and home check are complete, a meet and greet will be scheduled with the foster family. Once the family decides on the animal, the contract will be processed and adoption fee with be paid and they can take the pet home that day.
