Say hello to this adorable boy - Elf! He is such a cutie, and is just learning how to kitten - let me explain. Elf was born (along with his siblings) to a feral mama cat that we took into our program after one of our fosters found them.

They were all a bit skittish (as you can imagine) and are just now coming around to the idea that people are good and don't want to hurt them. Elf enjoys snuggling up with another friendly kitty (he's not that picky!), wet food and playing with string toys. Elf is blossoming more and more every day and will make a wonderful addition to your family!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
