Meet sweet Lorelai! She had a rough start in life. She was dropped off at the county shelter with her 5 kittens back in October of last year. She spent two months at the shelter before coming to Tigerlily. Lorelai is a very sweet kitty, she loves to run and play with her foster siblings. She walks a little differently due to a possible old, healed injury to her back legs, but it doesn't stop her one bit. She can walk, run, and jump like any other 2 year old kitty. Lorelai loves playing with her fluffy toys and is fond of tummy rubs. She would do well with another friendly cat in the home with proper introductions.

Lorelai is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and treated for parasites. Her adoption fee is $125. Do you have the purrfect home for this sweet girl?

Interview

If your application is approved, one of our board members will contact you for a phone interview.

3.
Meet the Pet

During your phone interview, we will work on setting up a date/time for you to meet your new family member at the Petsmart in Troy.

Additional adoption info

* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.

Our adoption fee of $100 (cash/check) includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea preventative, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. All Tigerlily cats are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to being available for adoption.
