This smart, independent boy is both house and kennel trained and does well with structure and routine. Like many herding breeds, Loki has strong protective instincts. He may show some resource guarding at mealtimes and can be wary of strangers entering his space, so an experienced, dog-savvy adopter who can help him feel secure will be key to his success.
Loki has a high jump and has been known to clear a 6-foot fence, so he’ll need a secure containment plan to keep him safe. He’s an energetic, intelligent dog who will thrive with plenty of mental and physical exercise, along with positive reinforcement and patience as he settles into his forever home.
