My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Angel is a senior female Husky looking for a loving home. She is sweet, energetic, and needs a lot of attention. She is spayed and up to date on shots. She is good with other large dogs but doesn't do well with smaller animals. Angel, and her brother Kodie, need to be rehomed because the woman who owned them passed away and her 22-year-old son is not in a position to care for them. He is desperate to find them a home. Dogs are located in South Florida. If you can give Angel and Kodie a good home, please contact Hunter at 561-703-0413 or via email at sonantboar638@live.com.

DISCLAIMER: Happy Tails Dog Rescue is helping Angel's owner to rehome her. We are only responsible for helping with the marketing of Angel and have otherwise not had any involvement. As such, Happy Tails Dog Rescue cannot attest to the health, temperament, or other factors related to Angel now or in the future. Please contact Hunter at the number above for details and next steps.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our goal is to make the adoption process as thorough and easy as possible. If you are interested in adopting a dog, the first thing we will ask you to do is complete our online Adoption Application. Upon review of your application, a decision to approve or decline will be made. If approved, we will schedule a time for your to meet the dog you are interested in adopting. If there is a match, a home visit will be conducted before the final adoption decision is made. Once the final approval is made, an Adoption Agreement is signed and the adoption is complete.

More about this rescue

Happy Tails Dog Rescue is a foster-based registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, vetting, and rehoming dogs from kill shelters in Southern Florida. We are a husband and wife team, together with a small team of volunteers who rescue, vet dogs, and rehome dogs who are about to be euthanized. It is our goal to provide the necessary veterinary care, grooming, and attention they may need to ultimately place them in forever homes.
