Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tyson, AKA "Biggie Smalls" as we affectionately call this handsome boy with one brown eye and one blue! Tyson is a big baby that loves to carry his stuffed toys on walks. He ignores other dogs that bark at him because they are intimidated by his sisee, and he's friendly when meeting other dogs, although he loves spending time with people more than his own species. This 6-year-old, 100lb American Bulldog mix sadly spent most of his life chained up in a backyard cage, until his family moved and dumped him on the street. He is ready to live his best life and he enjoys car rides, going for walks and getting snuggles. Come and meet this beautiful boy. Tyson is a goofy dog that will make you smile and he'll melt your heart so please complete an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.orgTo meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
