Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucky loves nothing more than to lay in the sunshine and get belly rubs. This handsome Staffordshire Terrier mix, weighs approximately 60 pounds and is about 7-years-young. Lucky is both crate and potty trained, knows many commands, and is friendly with other dogs. This sweet boy loves playing with balls, going on walks, and he is a pro snuggler. He truly lives up to his name, as anyone who meets him will feel lucky to have his love and loyalty.
While Lucky can feel nervous around strangers, he is a gentle loverboy once he trusts you. With patience and consistency, Lucky’s affectionate, playful, and devoted personality shines through. His ideal family will have a calm, low-traffic home with a fenced yard. He did previously live with other dogs in a home.

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
