My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adorable Fabulous ELVIS!! Approx 8 years old, darling, small/ medium, mixed breed package of love and fun!
He is dog friendly, loving and playful. He needs a knowledgeable handler to properly exercise him correctly and give him confidence outside of the home.. He gets a little nervous in the city but does great with joyful exercise and structure.
Would make a great family dog with a large yard and kids to play with or a couple that is active and can exercise him as needed.
He is a cuddle muffin and so full of love. He just needs a knowledgeable home. He went to adoptions and got an amazing lesson from a trainer that proved what an intelligent dog he is and how fast he can learn if someone will see he's smarter than the average bear!
He has a gorgeous silky red coat with hair that defines a regal breed and he may be mixed with a spaniel type. He is lightweight and smaller than he appears! FUN and love is what we would say. Would love hiking, the beach, great with children and we always suggest our dogs have at least one doggie friend to play with!
He has babysat all size dogs for years, Gets shy in public. Trainer showed LBWF team volunteers that exercise is key to allow him to realize the world is his friend so he can relax and enjoy.. He is such a good boy. His current partner is a small blue pittie and they play, cuddle and kiss throughout the day!

More about this rescue

The Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit California Corporation. Our work includes education the public, and working with state, local and national authorities to put an end to pet overpopulation as well as working at the national level to end illegal dogfighting. We visit our local shelters and find abandoned pets on death row, and we give them a second chance at a loving, permanent home. We are one of the few California rescue groups that rescue mothers and newborns (from one to five weeks of age), due to the high fee required by many shelters for their release of unaltered females who need tocontinue nursing their young. These animals are the first to be put to death in shelters. Shelters are unable to raise kittens and puppies and newborns cannot survive the diseases often found in such closely held captive environments. We give our rescued animals immediate medical care, proper nutrition, grooming, and socialization training. We have a few loving foster homes, but we need more caring foster parents. This temporary care can last up to a year so the animal can adjust and heal any physical or emotional wounds. And it always takes time to find the perfect loving home. Southern California Adoptions Only.
