Meet Jonah! This 5 year old mixed breed dog (with some Shepherd features) has come all the way from Texas where he was originally adopted years ago. His family has been expanding and the third child is now on the way. Jonah has his bags packed since he has notified them he is not interested in having any younger children in his life. Jonah is allergic to cats, and thinks they make terrible roommates.

Jonah is great with other dogs and good with adult-sized people. He has been getting more and more anxious with the little ones. His owners recognize the need to keep them separated and time is of the essence due to this.

Jonah is a fantastic boy. He weighs about 75 pounds and is house trained and crate trained. He is over all very well trained and loves to be a companion dog. He has had some experience with professional training, too. He would be a good hiking buddy. Jonah has visited Dog Parks and seems to be best with dogs similar in size and energy level. Jonah can be a bit protective when strangers enter the home and he needs to know from his owners that everything is OK. He warms up quickly and was a charming gentleman when we met for pictures.
