My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ever so Handsome Cooper” is a year old.. he is good and playful with other dogs and good with cats ( even tho he likes to chase them once in a while). He is a huge cuddler and protector of his people.. he will go in his crate - although he doesn't like to, and he will try and escape while your not home. Typical Pyrenees he likes to chew everything, so you will need to be watchful and offer him appropriate diversion. He does seems to have some separation anxiety - so would do better in a home where someone is at home more often than not. He is loveable and a wonderful dog. He loves the snow and being outside. He does like to bark ?. UTD on shots , not neutered.

When Not pondering the deeper meaning of life... Loveable Cooper enjoys scuba diving and rock climbing. :P

If you are interested in meeting this precious boy, please contact Sandy or The Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania Rescue thru our website at: www.swpapyr.org or by e-mail. Cooper will LOVE you for it! We will also need you to fill out our adoption application. You will need an above ground secure fence for safe play and exercise. We are looking for homes in the surrounding Pittsburgh area.

Additional adoption info

If interested in one of our rescues, you will need to fill out our adoption survey. To insure a safe environment for our dogs, we do home and yard checks. Great Pyrenees need a securely fenced in yard for safe play and exercise. Our adoption fee is contingent on the dogs vetting cost.

Go meet their pets

Since our dogs are kept with private families in a foster home setting... meeting our dogs is set up by an appointment. Thank you for understanding.
