My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is 7 year old shitzu weighing around 5-7 lbs. She is a tiny little thing. Sadly Daisy spent her entire life breeding for a puppy mill. Despite her horrible past she is a happy go lucky little girl who loves attention. She gets along great with other dogs and cats. She has not been exposed to children but due to her small size older children would be best. Due to her living in a bunny hutch she is missing the hair on her butt on and tail. Daisy does not like to be contained. If she needs to be contained, she has to be with another dog so she doesn’t get lonely. Another dog in her adoptive home would be a plus as she loves to play with her foster siblings. She would also do best in a home where someone is home more than not. We are working on potty training and teaching her how to use doggie door. She is very affectionate but you need to be careful as she always wants to be with her person and is underfoot a lot. I have almost tripped over her a few times. However every day she becomes a little more independent.

Daisy does not sleep in the big bed at night, hasn’t figured out the doggie stairs. She sleeps in a bed next to the big bed. I don’t believe a fenced yard is necessary but she will need to learn to how to walk on a leash. She is currently fostering in Antioch Illinois. If you are interested in hearing more about Daisy contact her foster mom Julie at 224-688-9782 or dogcrazy623@gmail.com. Daisy’s adoption fee is $450.
