We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

Ebony is a very sweet girl who is always happy and easy going. She loves attention and will gently paw you to remind you when she is looking for cuddles and pets. Once she gets her pets she will roll over asking for belly rubs. She is a such a gentle dog who her foster mama adores.

Ebony is crate and house trained, but she does not like the rain so if you don’t want an accident she does need time to do her business in that weather. She is currently living with another dog who she gets along famously with. She follows him and is learning how to be a dog, she definitely takes cues from him.

Her ideal home should have a fenced in yard where she can have room to run and play. An apartment would not be advisable because she can be vocal in her crate when is left alone but does eventually settle. A low to medium active family would be ideal for Ebony since, while she can go on long walks and does enjoy them, she is just as happy going for slow and short jaunts as well. Another dog would be beneficial to her as it would give her some great company. She walks very well on leash and is not reactive in anyway which makes us believe that dog savvy cats may be fine in the home.

Ebony is everything you could want in a dog, cute, loving, affectionate, loyal and a joy to be around.

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.

NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.
