Meet Lana, an English Bulldog/ Frenchie mix with a heart of gold and a personality that's larger than life! At 8 years young, she's a spayed female, 53 pounds and is a sweetheart with a funny personality that brings smiles to everyone around her. Lana is on the lookout for a home where she can be the only pet, no children and bask in the love of adults.
Lana's has no health issues to speak of, but she does have a penchant for turning socks and underwear into gourmet snacks, so a tidy floor is a must in her new abode. She's also got a bit of a Fast and Furious streak, occasionally mistaking passing cars for squirrels, so a firm hand on walks is essential.
Don't let her stern expression fool you; once Lana warms up, she's all wiggles and grins, especially with her tongue out in a happy pant. She's a snooze-loving, ball-chasing enthusiast who's always up for a walk or a run in the yard. Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
