Paxson is an adorable three-month-old little tiger boy with black and grey stripes and a polka-dotted belly, who with one glance from his warm, wide eyes could melt the iciest heart. Paxson is a generous and easy-going companion who goes along with the prevailing mood, whether it be to play, be petted, eat, or whatever else his fellow felines or you may seem to be suggesting. Even when he has a favorite toy in mouth, which is a serious business for him, he is usually quick to drop it to join in whatever fun activity is being presented. Like his brother Paco, his purr machine is easily tripped, and he is particularly fond of being cradled while his head is gently rubbed.
Paxson enjoys sunbathing while cozied up to his brother, and also loves his evening treat of watching “Cat TV”. Though at times it appears his interest may be more in the opportunity to grab any remaining bites of dinner, while his brother Paco is absorbed in the screen, than in the show itself!
Paxson and his brother Paco have personalities that are a perfect blend of playful and cozy, and are sources of much entertainment as well as a lot of cuddle time. These brothers are tightly bonded, and will bring joy to the lucky home into which they are adopted as a pair. They are currently demonstrating their tender natures while hanging out with a sweet and fiery younger kitten gal who loves the high-spirited, yet at the same time gentle, attention they shower upon her. Paxson and his brother are used to living in a home that has other felines of varying ages, along with older children and adults who provide plenty of human interaction.
Paxson tested positive for the FIV antibody. This is generally just a sign that his momma had FIV and passed the antibodies to Paxson. Since it is uncommon for kittens to acquire the actual disease from their mom, most kittens that test positive are not truly infected and will test negative when re-evaluated at 6 months of age or older. FIV test results are not considered truly accurate until the kitten is at least 6 months of age. Paxson has been in great health since he entered our care at 5 weeks of age.
Adoption fee is a minimum $110 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens are adopted together, $175 for a pair. Brief screening questionnaire and contract apply!
