My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Spring
DOB/Sex: 11/30/23 / F
Breed: Unknown Mix
Known Health Issues: Base narrow in lower jaw.
Good with: Kids! Dogs! Cats!
NO DOG PARKS

Spring came in to rescue with her mom, Sunshine (also available for adoption, see her here: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/40036015-niagara-falls-ontario-mixed-breed-medium-mix ) at just 1 day of age. Mom was dumped at a farm, so very little is known about her past, other than that she arrived very underweight. Sunshine is incredibly sweet, a trait that she has passed on to her puppies.

Spring is the most aloof girl from the litter, but it doesn't take her long to adjust. Once she does, watch out! This little puppy race car hits all the green lights! She's fast, loves to fun and jump, and tears around like no tomorrow! I'm going to assume she takes after mystery dad, as she's lean, lithe, and finer boned.

Spring is base narrow, and had dental interlock on her right side with her canines. She had her lower deciduous canine removed. She will begin ball therapy as her adults come in, in hopes of encouraging the lower canines to spread enough, not to interlock, or dig into her upper palate. If this is unsuccessful, she will need to see a dental specialist to have the canine tipped. This is covered with her adoption.

Spring is a super sweet girl, that loves attention. She's smart, loves to chase, and is very food motivated. She would be best with an adopter with previous dog experience, that enjoys building up a softer dog, and seeing them shine! She is in prime socialization time, so proper and controlled exposure to the world is key.

Spring will need to return to Martindale Animal Clinic, St. Catharines for her 16 week boosters, and her spay. Her adopter must be willing to bring her for her appointments. These are covered with her adoption.

If my super sweet little race car sounds like the girl missing from your life, please apply here: https://form.jotform.com/233466598767073 She looks forward to meeting you!
