Meet Vicki aka Goldie a 9 yr old apricot poodle. I am a puppy mill survivor, I was made to have litter after litter of puppies for 8 years of my life. I have never knew a kind voice or soft touch until I was rescued by Tiny Paws and came to stay with my foster family. I have learned to go through doorways and up and down steps even though they still make me nervous but, I can be coaxed with a treat. Those things are wonderful!!!! I am puppy pad trained but will go outside too with much encouragement. I have learned so much about treats, toys, grass, a warm soft bed and what its like to be loved. I have even learned to walk on a leash. I'm pretty good at it to... but I would much rather be on your lap once I get a bit used to you. I am very free with my kisses, and just love being with my person.
I'm looking for a nice calm, quiet home with no small children. I do have a bit of separation anxiety so I need someone that doesn't leave me alone for to long. It would be best if you have some puppy mill breeder release experience and you MUST have a fenced in yard. Patience is a must as I am still a little skittish until I get to know you and trust you. I am also UTD on all vaccines, heartworm negative and on preventative, flea and tick preventative done monthly, and dental completed. I did end up losing a few teeth but that does not take away from my beauty.
