Thomas is laid back and very sweet. He is 8yo and a little guy who only weighs 7#. Thomas came from a large hoarding seizure and had a very rough life prior to coming to rescue. He would really enjoy a quiet home with someone who is home most of the time. He is perfect in the house and and has free access to the house when his foster family is gone. He likes to curl up in bed with his person at night. He loves treats. He loves to show you how much he missed you when you get home and runs to greet you with excitement. He does well with other dogs and enjoys their company. His biggest wish is a nice cozy spot next to his favorite person.
He is working on leash training and being comfortable going outside. Thomas is potty trained to pee pads. Dogs like Thomas who have endured living in a cage outside in freezing weather often dislike being outside. He needs limited amounts of crate time, if any. Potty training flexibility that includes potty pads especially during poor weather, very secure outdoor spaces since he may run from people in the beginning and patience as he learns that his home is safe and his humans are kind.
He will reward you with love and will be your best friend in no time at all.
