My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Blanche! I've had quite the journey so far, arriving on January 23rd, 2024, after a run-in with a car that left me in severe pain. Luckily, kind souls rushed me straight to the vet, where I received immediate care, including X-rays that revealed my pelvis was broken or fractured in several places.

Since then, I've been on the mend, undergoing treatment and healing at the veterinary office. It's been a long process, but I'm getting better every day. The vets say I should be ready to return to the shelter by early May, where I'll be eagerly awaiting my forever home.

Despite my rough start, I'm a resilient pup with a lot of love to give. I'm already spayed, and while I do have heartworm, I'm undergoing treatment during my recovery, so I'll be in tip-top shape when it's time for me to find my new family.

I'm a social butterfly, both with humans and my fellow furry friends. I have medium energy levels, so I'm up for a good walk but also enjoy some chill time with my favorite people. Plus, I'm a pro on the leash, so we can explore together without any fuss.

I'm still waiting on some updated photos to show off my progress, but if you're interested in making me a part of your family, please submit an application at www.westmemphisanimalshelter.com. I can't wait to meet you and start our journey together!
