My name is Frances, and I'm a survivor. I may have started my journey as a stray, wandering the streets until fate led me to the West Memphis Animal Shelter on February 10th, 2024. But let me tell you, I am so much more than just a dog with a past.
I'm a spayed female, a big girl weighing in at around 45-50 lbs., but don't let my size intimidate you. My heart is even bigger, filled with love and affection waiting to be shared. Sure, I may have tested positive for heartworm, but that's just a hurdle on my road to finding my forever home. The shelter has promised to take care of my treatment once I find my perfect match.
What sets me apart? Well, where do I begin? I'm a lover of all creatures, adoring both male and female dogs alike. The shelter folks used me for dog testing because I have the calmest disposition you could ever hope for. Cats? Oh, they're just fine by me. People can't help but fall head over heels for me, and who can blame them? I'm incredibly well-mannered, housebroken to a tee, and a dream on the leash.
The staff and dog walkers here at the shelter can't get enough of me. They shower me with affection, but what I really long for is a home to call my own. So why am I still here, you ask? It's a mystery to me too! I'm the perfect package, just waiting for someone to see it. So, what do you say? Are you ready to make me a part of your family?
