Athena is a sweet energetic dog that loves to be outside exploring just as much as she loves to cuddle up on the couch and get some snuggles. She loves getting pets, and being around her people. She is so gentle and patient and will make any family or person the perfect companion. She does great with other dogs, and kids, but it might take cats a bit to warm up to how friendly and energetic she can be when she meets new friends. She`s fully potty trained, and is doing well with basic commands but will need a little reminder every once in a while. She is starting leash training and does really well, but will pull when she gets a little excited. A quick reminder and she is back to walking calmly. Because she is so energetic and active she would make the perfect running companion. When she is out for a run on leash she is so well behaved and focused and in her element. Meet the Pet
Once you have decided which pets you are interested in, sign in for an adoption counselor who will guide you through the adoption process.

Take the Pet Home
Cats must leave in a carrier and dogs must leave in a carrier or on leash. We do have these available for purchase in our lobby store.
Additional adoption info
Year-Round Adoption Fees:
• Puppies and kittens less than 4 months old $50
• Adult dogs and cats $30
• A standard $20 dog license fee may apply
• Pets who have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a family and pets over 5 years old $0 - Fee Waived!
Every adoption includes:
• Spay or neuter surgery
• First Vaccinations
• Microchip
• Vet visit certificate
• Pet insurance
