Dobie, a charming 5–6-month-old female pup, is in search of her forever home. With a striking tan/brown and white coat, she exudes a mix of energy and playfulness. Despite her young age, Dobie displays a sweet and affectionate nature, making her an ideal companion for a loving family. Eager to explore the world around her, this mixed breed pup showcases a curious and inquisitive personality. My name is Dobie. My sweet finders thought the name fit me well and I’ve often been called DobieDoo, almost like Scooby Doo.
I was left in a parking lot, alone, skinny, and dirty. My finders kept me for a few days where I had lots of fun with kids- I love kids, I spot them from far away on walks.
Then Darbster rescued me, and I went to stay in my foster home. I got to meet 5 cats, which I really fancied although the feeling wasn’t mutual, I was polite and gentle. I really believe we can be friends one day. I had a blast with my female dog friend Lady, who was just 4 months older than me. We did everything together! My foster parents loved me, like I was their baby.
They would say “she’s a sweet personality, loves people and pets, smart and observant, a great cuddler, and has the funniest hop when she gets excited. She exudes happiness. She doesn’t like to be crated - expect loud barks and cries- but will do well in a baby gated space or room. “Yes… that’s true, and I also am not so keen with baths and water, but I’ll comply 😜 I’m still working on the potty routine. If you take me out every 2 hours, I manage with no accidents till my bladder gets bigger. I won’t chew anything up if I have a couple chew toys, I can put my energy into.
Also, if you throw something I’ll go fetch and bring it back. I do love a good tug-a-war match.
I’m eating with much enthusiasm my Hills science diet puppy dry food (and my foster would top it with badlands ranch healthy stuff). They also gave me skin supplements daily that were like treats to help my coat get better, with an occasional coconut oil rub.
