Demian is currently hanging out with our rescue partners in Mexico! He's super excited to find his furever family here in Canada!

Demian is described by his rescuers as a gentle and calm dog. Because of his low to medium energy level, he may not show his excitement by jumping for joy, but there is no mistaking how much he loves seeing his humans.

Demian loves to play with humans and other dogs but will enjoy your companionship over his fellow canines. He enjoys spending time on the couch and cuddling next to his loved ones. Demian is very sweet and obedient, which shows his aptitude to pick up new commands.

A family that can provide a backyard so Demian can relax and enjoy the outside would be a dream come true for him! He would love a family that will let him cuddle with them on the couch all day.

Demian's flight can be arranged as soon as we find his forever family!

We do a very thorough screening interview, where we go through all of our policies, regulations and asking very detailed questions.
We perform a home and reference check.
Reference checks are your vet and two personal,
once all of those are completed,
we approve you.
you will out a liability waiver, and then set up a meet and greet
if the dog is the right fit, you sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee and on you go home with your new fido friend!

Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based, non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected, and abused animals. Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is completely funded by the support of the community through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering prior to their adoption.
