We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

Tilda is full of love and spunk and all she wants to do is share it with you. She is one of the happiest dogs and is quick to trust, show affection, and engage in play. Tilda loves to play with her canine foster sister, especially tug! When the leash comes out she’s the first to the door and eagerly gets her coat on for winter walks. If you take too long to get out the door on a walk, she picked up her leash in her mouth and walks herself! Though she is energetic, she follows the vibe of the home and calms down quickly and easily to relax and stay by your side. She’s a great reading and movie buddy but watch your snacks because she wants to share!

Tilda is fully house and crate trained and stays quiet while in there. She sleeps well through the night and will give you the most cheerful good morning kisses upon release. She would be a lovely addition to any family as we feel she is a true family dog. Tilda is very talented at tossing her toys over her head and pounces over and over to reach them. Tilda does have puppy energy and can become over exuberant but all it takes is redirection with toys or words to calm her down.

Tilda’s ideal home would be one with a securely fenced-in yard where she can run, play and expend some of her energy. An active family with another dog and respectful children 6+. She is currently living with a dog savvy cat and there is no issue. She does bark at passerby’s, so apartments would not be ideal. As long as she gets her walks and some different adventures in her life she will be a happy pup. A basketful of toys and a doggy sibling would by the cherry on top.

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.

NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.

BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
