My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name- Chewy (male)
Breed-Unknown (possibly cairn terrier/poodle mix)
Age- 8-9 years old
Weight- 17lbs
Vetting not done
He is housebroken, will go in his crate (but would rather be with people), and is great on a leash. He sleeps in a crate but would be fine being out too.
He is great with dogs and kids older than 5 (cats unknown). He may be partially deaf or going deaf but you could work on teaching him hand commands.
He can be a fussy old man if you want him to do something he doesnt want to do. It is seldom that he will give a grumbly noise or nip but he does if u move him and he doesnt want to be moved.  He may be better in a home with a retired adult/couple.  He is good with my dogs but will also get in "tifs" with my male. Thankfully nothing serious so far.
Chewy stays right by you and doesn't wander. He loves going on walks and snuggling on the couch. Belly rubs? Yes please!
He is slightly obsessed with food ;) and gets very excited when it's time to eat. He needs some training as far as taking treats because he isn’t gentle (or maybe our treats are super delicious LOL).
Nap time is a favorite-he loves his new fuzzy bed!
While brushing and nail trims don't bother him, trimming his hair by his face is more challenging. Going to a gentle, trusted groomer would be best.
If you notice his tail is blurry in pics, it's because it doesn't stop wagging.
He is being fostered in Pleasant Prairie, WI with kids and dogs. ADOPTION FEE is $450.
