Hey there, I'm Rush! A handsome, cuddly, and solid 1-year-old Husky mix with one piercing blue eye and a heart full of love. Life as a stray wasn't easy, but now I'm ready to leave my past behind and start a new journey with my forever family.

I weigh 65lbs and have a boundless energy that never ceases to amaze. I love to run, play and explore, making me an ideal companion for active and patient adults. I'm still learning the ropes, so I prefer a home with no children to ensure I get all the attention and love I need.

My personality is a perfect mix of affectionate, charming, curious, loyal, playful, and even a little quirky at times. I might seem shy at first, but once I warm up, I'll be your best friend and lover for life. I would prefer to be your one and only companion!

Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.

The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.

The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.

Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.

The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
