Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Atlas! He is full of love, sweetness and joy! Atlas gets along really well with both male and female dogs of all sizes. He enjoys having cats around as well, and would love another dog around to hang out with. He loves nose focused activities and playtime with both hounds and humans!
Atlas loves being outside, playing in the water, and occasionally will even bring his toys with him on walks! He listens very well and knows how to sit on command - well behaved boy. Atlas is crate/kennel trained and walks on a leash. He is ultimately a wonderful boy looking for someone who can provide him with a loving home and the attention he seeks, loves and deserves.

Most of our Meets are done virtually due to Covid as well as successful adopters are often geographically distanced. Fosters and potential adopters arrange "Facetime" meetings.

More about this rescue
A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.
ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
